Essex County Council (ECC) invites you to our Disability Confident Lunch and Networking Event.

This is a great opportunity to find out how to become a Disability Confident employer and tap into a wealth of advantages for your business, including:

  • How to ‘Unleash the Purple Pound’ – the spending power of disabled customers.
  • Gaining access to a wide pool of talent to help enhance the future growth of your business.
  • Showing your workforce and clients that you are dedicated to equality in the workplace.
  • Meeting ECC’s future requirement that its supply chain is Disability Confident.

Join us to network over lunch and hear real-life stories of employment, followed by presentations from Gavin Jones, CEO of ECC; Mike Adams OBE, Chief Executive of Purple; Brian Keating of Department for Work & Pensions; and Tom Hicks of Remploy.

There will be the chance to contribute to the discussion and have your questions answered by our panel of experts during a question and answer session.

This event is part of our annual ‘Art of the Possible’ festival, where we celebrate the good things that happen in Essex.

If you require further information please contact:

Refreshments will be served during the event.
