Thinking commercially isn’t all ‘city slickers’ and double-glazing cold calls, join us and learn how your charity or social enterprise can use commercial tools and techniques to make a difference to your organisation and the people you serve.

Spend a day at Essex Outdoors in Danbury and:

  • race to the submit
  • motor along your route to market
  • hit your sales target bullseye
  • spot which overheads are overhead

Essex County Council’s Traded Development Team will lead you through classroom and outdoor training sessions, they'll provide an overview of some business techniques that can be used to help you and your colleagues consider:

  • potential commercial opportunities
  • efficiencies
  • savings

The day is made up of short innovative classroom sessions, you'll work in groups to understand a balanced scorecard and its relevance to your charity or social enterprise.

After each of these there'll be a fun outdoor activity to reinforce learning.

Are you up for a full day of leaping, launching and learning about embedding a commercial mind-set? If so, apply now – spaces are strictly limited!
